WE ARE AN OUT OF NETWORK PROVIDER
Cash/Equivalent Pay Model
We are an out of network provider for all insurances. We accept cash/card or equivalent payment upfront, and we supply a Superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We follow this model for two main reasons:

First, our system allows for true one on one time. If you go to an outpatient PT clinic, you will likely be treated at the same time as 3-4 other patients and you may leave the session with very little, if any, one on one time with the therapist. Many clinics expect their therapists to see 20-24 patients in a day. If you divide that by an 8-hour day, then you can see that is an average of around 3 patients per hour. We do not believe this is conducive to receiving the best care. Insurance limitations are what have caused this problem. That is why we forego all insurance entirely. We focus on the value of each session. We believe that one completely one on one session is worth 3 of these group type therapy visits. A typical copay for therapy is $50 per visit. Once all value is factored, we feel confident that you will see the difference in what we provide. Our session is $150 for a follow-up visit. If your insurance reimburses even part of this cost, then the value is even more evident.

Second, this allows us to treat you in the best possible way without the limitations of insurance denials. Too often insurance companies limit what type of care you receive and how you receive it. We believe in doing what is best for you in reaching your goals regardless of whether an insurance company deems to be appropriate for their bottom line.

Story from Brian : "When I ran an outpatient clinic, I had a 14-year-old girl patient who was a post-surgical ACL reconstruction and her insurance company only approved 6 total visits in a 4 week period. I had to treat 3 patients at the same time as her and I could only give part of my time. This made these visits limited in value. I fought and appealed begging the insurance company for more visits and was only able to get an additional 2 visits. I appealed again and the same thing: 2 more. This was the point where I became disheartened with outpatient therapy. The system is broken. "
